Ann Pragg: Matt Radick

Downtown Gainesville's very own Matt Radick is a low profile kinda dude from an outsider's perspective… there is much more there than he promotes.

When I first started seeing him around town I only knew that he was in the band Holopaw. I work with many of the band members at Palomino Pool Hall and have the honor of being friends with an amazing crew of guys. Matt is, to quote Jeff McMullen, "basically a genius". Genius? Well, looking at the definition- "someone who has exceptional intellectual ability, creativity, or originality" I'd say that's pretty damn accurate. Beyond his music he is a calm natured, dry witted guy whose talents supersede our walking by glances. A master in carpentry, dude crafts,  music and vision...  Check out his solo happenings here.
